Model-Driven Software Development

Timo Kehrer is a professor at the Institute of Computer Science of the University of Bern (Switzerland), chairing the Software Engineering Research and Teaching Group. Before that, Kehrer was an assistant professor at the Humboldt-University of Berlin (Germany), heading the Model-Driven Software Engineering Group from 2017 to 2021. Kehrer worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Dependable Evolvable Pervasive Software Engineering Group at Politecnico di Milano (Italy) from 2015 to 2016, and as a research assistant in the Software Engineering and Database Systems Group of the University of Siegen (Germany) from 2011 to 2015. He has active research interests in model- and data-centric software engineering, model-based software analysis and quality assurance, scientific software engineering, software evolution and software product-line engineering.
