Logic in Computer Science
Nicole Schweikardt is the chair for Logic in Computer Science at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Her research areas are logic, database theory, and complexity theory; and she is particularly dedicated to the interconnections between formal logical descriptions of problems and efficient algorithmic solutions of these problems. She will contribute her knowledge and long-standing experience in investigating the expressive power and computational complexity of query languages, as well as exploring the theoretical foundations for processing huge data sets and data streams.
Nicole Schweikardt is principal investigator in subprojects A1.
