Research Area C: DAW Design

New in Phase II of FONDA, this research area focuses on the conceptualization of DAWs from a user perspective. Of the three projects, one (C1, formerly A6) is an interdisciplinary collaboration between computer science and neuroscience focused on improving the (re)usability and interoperability of existing software components. The other two projects will integrate user input to empirically evaluate the process through which scientific questions become DAWs (C2), and identify and integrate user-preferred input modalities during DAW development, analysis, and execution (C3).

C1: Collaborative Design of Exploratory DAWs in Neuroscience

C2: Early Workflow Design: From Collaborative Scientific Problem-Solving to DAW Specifications

C3: User Centered Design for Data Analysis Workflow Languages
